Harzer Uhrenmuseum

During your visit, you can expect to see around 300 different cuckoo clocks, grandfather clocks, and many other exhibits. On a guided tour, you will learn about the history of clockmaking in Gernrode. In the workshop, you can watch the clockmaker at work as he crafts a cuckoo clock. Children will have lots of fun watching the cuckoo emerge from the giant cuckoo clock (14.50 m). . The weather house on the gable with a water wheel and saw frame, as well as the largest cuckoo clock made of chocolate, are further highlights of a visit to the clock museum. If you wish, you can purchase a cuckoo clock in every price range from us. Refreshments are available in our restaurant with outdoor terrace.
