Whether before, during or after your holiday – the Quedlinburg-Tourismus-Marketing GmbH is at your disposal as a contact for all questions or requests. You can reach us by phone or post, by e-mail or Facebook while on the go and of course we are also directly present as tourist information at three different locations.
Directly at the market square of the World Heritage City Quedlinburg, at the Finkenherd below the Collegiate Church or in the district of Bad Suderode – at three locations we are happy to advise you directly on sights in the city, give excursion tips for the surroundings or inform you about our offer of guided city tours. Of course you can also buy tickets for various events as well as tickets for journeys with the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen or purchase exclusive souvenirs for your loved ones at home.
Would you like to get informed in advance and would like to plan your holiday from home? Then get inspired by our holiday catalogue, in which all important dates and information are collected. When is the best time to travel, which event should you not miss and which excursions are recommended? You will also find an answer to the question “hotel or holiday apartment” in this brochure. Sit back on your couch and rummage through our offer to plan your holiday individually. If you have any questions, just call us.
Arrival & Transport
Located on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains, Quedlinburg is easily accessible from all directions – whether you are travelling by bus, train or your own car.
The World Heritage City Quedlinburg and the district of Gernrode are state-recognised recreational places. The district of Bad Suderode was a state-recognised Calciumsole-Heilbad, the recreation place status is applied for. The World Heritage City Quedlinburg therefore charges a tourist tax for guests staying overnight in the survey area. This is intended to cover part of their expenses for the production, acquisition, extension, improvement, renewal and maintenance of their tourism-related facilities.
